I'm watching this snowmageddon series for probably the 4th time and still loving it. I also watch your firewood production and some of the field work. Clean, honest, entertainment. So glad you're alive :)
Nice one.. But if there is a rock between beys, what is going to happen?
Where can I get a thumb like the one attached to your machine?
How have you not had any videos up for a long time?
The thumb Tacs were not too sharp in that inventory.
Even though it’s a four year old video, I’m happy to have found it. Nice to see a real farmer running some NH machines. While that’s what we’ve ran for generations, I’m open minded on what’ll be next. Nice to see a T5 in action. Cheers 🍻 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
It’s cathartic to watch that big hog work! I have a 5055e open station Deere with a frontier rc 2084 light duty hogg and love it but need to upgrade soon. What did you go with for your upgrade? Stick with the 5R or jump to a 6x used?
Has anyone ever had a problem with the compressor cycling on and off 30-40 times a minute?
are you running steel or rubber conditioner rolls?
Rubber
Where can I get my T4.90 Newholland fixed. It's in DEF computer shut down.
(junior): "Honey, Imma supplement our income and start a RUclips complainer channel. I've noticed RUclips's most succcessful influencers are complainers..." (Junior's wife): "Whatever"
Yeah that’s right you buy a $100,000 tractor and when it’s a pile of crap you’re not supposed to say a thing about it. Just keep your mouth shut. Hell why not buy another one.
Junior, you're such aa weiner.
watching my first hay mowing video in 2024 but the video is from 2019....well it popped up....i bet i watched 5 yrs ago
Maybe I missed it but I was hopeing to see how it dumped it's load of rock, not just an obstructed view from the front.
Where videos at
Dam you saved me a lot of problems. Thank you much!
Throw enough money and time into anything, it will run.
Still enjoying the 4710. Just spent 3500 for the air conditioner upgrade. Best money I've spent in a while! Nice machine!
Just blew a fat hose
Very well explained brother...
We have had our! 1840 MF baler a little over a year and the plunger started to clunk on the return stroke... Pulled the plunger and the two lower bearings on the lower side of the plunger closest to the front, one was missing the balls and the other was close... and the bale counter was showing about 52.000, We cross referenced the bearings and the J.D dealer had some that went on the Thresher Bars in an AMADAS peanut combine, I think the New Holland it replaced was close to 500,000 bales, went we pulled the plunger for the same reason
Great video! How would you cut open the ditch to runoff water off from the side of the road?
Bummer. Our company has run all duramaxes for yeara now. I ran my 05 to 500k miles and my 15 to over 200k and all our other ones over 250k. We never lost a duramax engine. I know anything can fail, but that's sad to see. None of these trucks are cheap anymore.
Nice video, you always got some irons in the fire don't you
Remember when Chevy used to be good?
Ouch 🤕 there goes ten grand plus
That sucks
Hmm, How many miles on it Dennis? Had one like it on work truck, turned out to be injectors issues. 👍🏻
180k on it
Sounds like injector issues. Those injector connectors are the worst in a duramax.
Haha
Damn durashits!
Put a cork in the hole,,, it will be fine. Ron :0
Man that sucks...when it rains it pours.
Just a little blow by it’ll be alright keep on gettin it.
Got a bad skip
@@DLHFarms Ya I was just kidding about that. Wouldn’t want to do more damage than what’s already been done.
63-Year-Old farmer just got humbled. The old dog just learned a new trick. Very helpful. Thank you for the video.
We use road hay squeezes with 3 tie small bales on the west coast to load various types of trailers. I’m sure as you get used to it you’ll find more efficient ways to move and load stacks. Appreciate your videos I really enjoy seeing how people farm and move hay in different parts of the country. 🇺🇸
I have a New Holland TL 100A tractor. My problem is----the tractor always starts off with a JERK. (and I don't mean the driver!!!!) It has the gears and range that you show, plus a clutch, plus a forward and reverse lever on the left of the steering wheel. I got the tractor used, and don't think this jerk-starting is normal. Could it be the type fluid I am using?? Is there another problem I don't know about?
Needs a calibration
How small of rocks will this pick up?
About 2 inch I think
Wondering if you still like the 4710. I bought one new last October and it has been a nightmare. Cylinders drift, ac wouldn’t work, def pump went out and now it is sitting in the field dead and won’t start. Have you had any similar issues?
Very few issues with mine. 1300 hours still working great
Spaghetti noodles with a fork. Yep, a good description of unloading logs with an excavator.
Haha
so is the loader 3rd function valve in the black box on the front of the loader?
Yes it’s a diverter type and that’s where the diverter is.
Great stuff bud fixed my problem Thanks.
I'm looking to buy one so I appreciate the content. super curious about the head land though? with that machine why not cut it first then carry on?
We had a 7740 doings 127hp at the p.t.o super tractor the sad was we last it n a farm fire an last year we got a 7840 turbo doing 145hp so far been a good job
Do you think this 5711 would pull round baler baling haylage ok....at least after the tuning?
Definitely.
bought a 1839 about 10 years ago, best thing i ever bought for the farm, and my sanity
Did you get any condensations drips from frame above your head? The big black square frame above rear window?
No
Man, was trying to plow in my new 5711 and the 3 point went wacky. Wouldn’t stay down and then would just go up and down repeatedly by itself. ruclips.net/video/7RMVr677YBI/видео.htmlsi=v0F8-yA8jIcJVQyd
Yep, a design flaw. Kubota doesn't listen.
I just bought a tractor and the Dewalt grease gun. I really appreciate all the great people on YT, like yourself, sharing their knowledge. It helps minimize the learning curve for a novice like myself.
